JONESBOROUGH, TN (October-2025) – Edgewater Technical Associates LLC (Edgewater), is pleased to announce that BWXT has awarded Edgewater a 5-year contract to perform Engineering, Procurement and Construction in support of the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) High Purity Depleted Uranium (HPDU) project.
Under this contract, Edgewater will provide turnkey services for design, permitting, licensing, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, startup and testing of the HPDU production lines, facilities and support equipment. Upon completion, this HPDU facility will be capable of producing up to 300 metric tons of HPDU annually in support of mission critical work for the NNSA. Work for this project will be performed out of Edgewater offices in Oak Ridge, TN, Johnson City, TN and at the BWXT plant in Jonesborough, TN.
