Charlie McVay
Charlie McVay is Edgewater’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He also serves as Director of Oak Ridge, International, and the Northwestern U.S.. As Vice President and COO, he provides leadership to shape the strategy and culture of a successful, rapidly expanding professional and technical services company supporting nuclear, high-hazard, and complex operations nation-wide, and in the U.K. and Canada. As Director of Oak Ridge, the Northwestern U.S., and International, he provides leadership, management, and technical support to Edgewater projects and Company-wide special projects.
Charlie has over 30 years of experience in project management, waste management, TRU waste, D&D, fuel treatment and shipping, waste operations, safety basis, and the design and construction of waste treatment and disposal facilities. Prior to joining Edgewater, he managed major Nuclear and Environmental projects at Dounreay Nuclear Sites, Washington River Protection, Oak Ridge, and West Valley.
